What makes that the memory flanche with time? Why I am not able any more me to remember where I could well put the keys, the income tax return? …
In fact, our brain, machine O how much complexes and sophisticated, are not saved by time! We tend to minimize the first signs, putting these lapses of memory on the account of the stress, of tiredness… But these first signs testify to our cerebral ageing, physiological process face to which we all are not equal.

Following the team works of Nora ABROUS (unit INSERM 588 “Physiopathology of the behavior”, directed by Pier-Vincenzo PIAZZA), it was shown that the storage capacities are directly related to the capacities of creation of new neurons in the hippocampic zone of the brain (zone blamed in the insanity of the Alzheimer type). The problem would come from the plasticity of our brain: the capacity of the nervous system to modify and reorganize its structure, with the wire of time and the lived experiments, would be defective, especially in the hippocampus.
